What it does

Beta glucan is a polysaccharide derived from oats, yeast, or mushrooms that has powerful skin-conditioning and immune-modulating properties. It penetrates deeper into the epidermis than most humectants, stimulating wound healing and collagen production at a deeper level. It also activates skin immune cells (Langerhans cells) to fight infection without causing inflammation, making it exceptional for sensitive and compromised skin.

Benefits
  • Deeply hydrating — penetrates further than hyaluronic acid
  • Strongly anti-inflammatory and calming for reactive skin
  • Stimulates wound healing and skin repair
  • Boosts skin immunity without triggering inflammation
  • Reduces redness and irritation from actives or environmental triggers
