What it does

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring glycosaminoglycan found in skin, joints, and connective tissue. As a topical humectant, it draws moisture from the environment and deeper skin layers to the surface, providing immediate plumping and hydration. Different molecular weights penetrate to different skin depths for layered hydration.

Benefits
  • Instantly plumps and hydrates the skin surface
  • Reduces the appearance of fine lines when skin is well-hydrated
  • Suitable for all skin types including sensitive and acne-prone
  • Supports wound healing and skin recovery

Heads up
  • In very dry climates, may draw moisture from deeper skin layers — always seal with a moisturiser
  • Alone it does not moisturise — it must be sealed in with an occlusive or emollient
How to use

Apply to damp skin immediately after cleansing, then seal with a moisturiser. Can be layered under serums and creams. Use morning and evening.

Typical concentration: 0.1–2% (lower concentrations with multiple molecular weights are often more effective)
