What it does

Trehalose is a disaccharide sugar found naturally in organisms that survive extreme dehydration (resurrection plants, tardigrades). In skincare it is a highly effective humectant that draws and retains moisture in the skin. It also has mild antioxidant properties and is well-tolerated by all skin types.
