What it does

Tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate is a lipid-soluble ester of Vitamin C that penetrates the skin more deeply than water-soluble forms. It is highly photostable, does not oxidise in the jar, and converts to ascorbic acid after absorbing into the skin. It delivers all the benefits of Vitamin C with superior stability and tolerability.

Benefits
  • Penetrates more deeply than water-soluble Vitamin C
  • Excellent photostability — doesn't oxidise or turn yellow
  • Brightens, protects, and stimulates collagen
  • Well-tolerated — minimal irritation even at higher concentrations
  • Compatible with other actives including niacinamide
