Resveratrol
Resveratrol
Also known as: Trans-Resveratrol · Grape Skin Extract
AntioxidantAnti-aging
“A powerful plant polyphenol that activates longevity genes and protects from oxidative damage.”
What it does
Resveratrol is a polyphenolic stilbenoid found in grape skins, red wine, and berries. In skincare, it acts as an exceptionally potent antioxidant — significantly more potent than Vitamin C or E in some models — and activates sirtuin proteins (SIRT1) associated with cellular longevity and DNA repair. It has anti-inflammatory properties and inhibits UV-induced melanin production, making it effective for both anti-aging and brightening.
Benefits
- One of the most potent topical antioxidants available
- Activates sirtuin longevity proteins for cellular protection
- Anti-inflammatory and calming
- Inhibits UV-induced pigmentation
- Synergistically enhances Vitamin C and E efficacy
