What it does

Macadamia oil is extracted from the nuts of Macadamia integrifolia. It is uniquely high in palmitoleic acid (omega-7) — a fatty acid also found in human sebum that declines with age. This makes macadamia oil particularly compatible with ageing skin and excellent for barrier restoration. It absorbs moderately and has a stable, long shelf life.

Benefits
  • Highest natural source of palmitoleic acid — mirrors ageing skin's depleted fatty acids
  • Deeply nourishing for dry and mature skin
  • Good oxidative stability — slow to go rancid
  • Supports barrier repair alongside ceramides
