What it does

Jojoba oil is actually a liquid wax ester (not a triglyceride oil) that closely resembles human sebum in molecular structure. This structural similarity allows it to regulate sebum production and absorb readily without clogging pores. It is highly stable due to its wax ester structure — it does not go rancid easily — and is rich in vitamins E and B.

Benefits
  • Mimics skin's natural sebum to balance oil production
  • Non-comedogenic emollient suitable for oily and acne-prone skin
  • Long shelf life due to stable wax ester structure
  • Rich in vitamin E for antioxidant protection
  • Suitable as a carrier oil or standalone moisturiser
