What it does
Dimethicone is a silicone-based polymer used extensively in skincare and haircare. It forms a breathable, flexible film on the skin surface that locks in moisture, fills fine lines temporarily, and provides a smooth, slip-free texture. Despite myths, it does not clog pores for most people.
