What it does
Bakuchiol is a meroterpene phenol extracted from the seeds and leaves of Psoralea corylifolia (babchi plant). Clinical studies show it upregulates the same retinoid receptors as retinol and produces comparable improvements in fine lines, elasticity, and pigmentation — without the irritation, dryness, or photosensitivity associated with retinoids. A viable option for sensitive skin or during pregnancy.
