What it does

Turmeric extract, particularly its active compound curcumin, has well-documented anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Topically it can help fade hyperpigmentation, reduce redness, and protect against oxidative damage. Its challenge is bioavailability and the yellow pigment that can stain skin at high concentrations.

Benefits
  • Potent anti-inflammatory activity
  • Brightens skin tone and reduces hyperpigmentation
  • Strong antioxidant — neutralises free radicals
  • May reduce acne inflammation
