What it does

Sea buckthorn oil is derived from the berries of the Hippophae rhamnoides shrub. It is one of the most antioxidant-rich plant oils, containing carotenoids (beta-carotene, lycopene), tocopherols, and a rare omega-7 fatty acid (palmitoleic acid). It promotes skin regeneration and wound healing, and is used in concentrated form for eczema, burns, and UV-damaged skin. The deep orange colour can tint the skin at high concentrations.

Benefits
  • Extremely high carotenoid and vitamin content protects from oxidative stress
  • Contains rare omega-7 (palmitoleic acid) for skin regeneration
  • Supports healing of eczema, psoriasis, and UV-damaged skin
  • Anti-inflammatory and soothing
