What it does

Propolis is a resinous substance produced by honeybees from plant sources. It has been used in traditional medicine for millennia for its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and wound-healing properties. In skincare, propolis extract inhibits acne-causing bacteria (P. acnes), reduces inflammation, and promotes skin repair. It is rich in flavonoids and phenolic acids that provide antioxidant protection. Korean skincare formulations pioneered its mainstream use.
