“A highly refined petroleum-derived oil that's one of the safest occlusives in skincare.”
What it does
Cosmetic-grade mineral oil is highly purified petroleum-derived oil. Despite its reputation, peer-reviewed evidence consistently shows it to be non-comedogenic, non-allergenic, and safe for cosmetic use. It forms an occlusive barrier that prevents moisture loss and is a key ingredient in many dermatologist-recommended products.

- Effective occlusive — prevents transepidermal water loss
- Non-allergenic and non-sensitising at cosmetic grade
