What it does
Cosmetic-grade mineral oil is highly purified petroleum-derived oil. Despite its reputation, peer-reviewed evidence consistently shows that it does not clog pores, does not trigger allergies, and is safe for cosmetic use. It forms an occlusive barrier that prevents moisture loss and is a key ingredient in many dermatologist-recommended products.
