What it does

Cholesterol is one of three key lipids (alongside ceramides and fatty acids) that make up the skin's barrier. Topical cholesterol replenishes the barrier matrix, improves moisture retention, and accelerates barrier recovery after damage. It is skin-identical, meaning the skin naturally produces and uses it.

Benefits
  • Directly replenishes skin barrier lipid matrix
  • Accelerates barrier recovery after damage or irritation
  • Improves skin hydration and TEWL reduction
  • Synergistic with ceramides and fatty acids
