What it does

Cetearyl olivate and sorbitan olivate (together known as Olivem 1000) are olive oil-derived emulsifiers that form a liquid crystal structure similar to the skin's own lamellar body system. This unique property allows them to not only emulsify oil and water but also to actively reinforce the skin barrier and improve ingredient delivery.

Benefits
  • Emulsifier that mimics skin's own lamellar structure
  • Actively reinforces the skin barrier
  • Improves penetration of co-formulated actives
  • Derived from renewable olive oil
  • Gentle and well-tolerated
