What it does

Tinosorb S is a photostable broad-spectrum UV filter approved in the EU, UK, Canada, and Australia (not yet approved in the US). It absorbs both UVB and UVA radiation and is notably photostable — unlike avobenzone, it does not degrade in UV light. It is considered one of the safest and most effective modern sunscreen filters.

Benefits
  • Broad-spectrum UVB + UVA coverage
  • Photostable — does not degrade in sunlight
  • Also stabilises avobenzone in combination formulas
  • Low skin penetration and strong safety profile
