Olive Oil
Olea Europaea Fruit Oil
Also known as: Olea Europaea Oil · Extra Virgin Olive Oil
EmollientMoisturising
“A rich Mediterranean oil — nourishing for very dry skin but heavy for oily.”
What it does
Olive oil is a rich emollient pressed from olives. It is high in oleic acid (omega-9) which penetrates skin well and is nourishing for dry skin types. However, its high oleic acid content makes it less suitable for acne-prone or oily skin where linoleic acid deficiency — not oleic surplus — is often the issue.
Benefits
- Deeply nourishes very dry or mature skin
- Rich in Vitamin E and polyphenol antioxidants
- Anti-inflammatory squalene content
