“A finely milled mineral that blurs pores and controls shine.”
What it does
Silica is a naturally occurring mineral (silicon dioxide) used in skincare as an oil absorber, texture refiner, and mild pore-blurring agent. It is widely used in primers, mattifying moisturisers, and finishing powders. It absorbs sebum and reduces surface shine without drying the skin.
Benefits
- Absorbs excess sebum and reduces shine
- Visually blurs the appearance of pores
- Creates a smooth, soft-focus skin texture
- Non-irritating and inert
