What it does

Silica is a naturally occurring mineral (silicon dioxide) used in skincare as an oil absorber, texture refiner, and mild pore-blurring agent. It is widely used in primers, mattifying moisturisers, and finishing powders. It absorbs sebum and reduces surface shine without drying the skin.

Benefits
  • Absorbs excess sebum and reduces shine
  • Visually blurs the appearance of pores
  • Creates a smooth, soft-focus skin texture
  • Non-irritating and inert
