What it does
Propylparaben is a paraben ester used as a broad-spectrum antimicrobial preservative. It is often used in combination with methylparaben for enhanced efficacy. Like all parabens, its safety has been extensively reviewed and confirmed at approved cosmetic concentrations by EU and FDA.
