Fragrance
“A common fragrance component found in lavender — a top fragrance allergen.”
What it does
Linalool is a naturally occurring terpene alcohol found in lavender, bergamot, and over 200 other plants. It is used extensively as a fragrance ingredient. While it smells pleasant, it is one of the 26 fragrance allergens required to be disclosed on EU cosmetic labels due to its sensitisation potential, especially when oxidised.
